Background:

Just four accountants working half to three-quarters time and a support staff of four manage millions of dollars for a client base of over 300 individuals and organizations—making maximum efficiency in managing documents crucial.

The firm struggled to access information from a mix of digital and paper documents—over 600 horizontal feet of it to be exact. Bodtke & Stewart also lacked a unified document-management solution. They turned to Infogenic Solutions for help.

Solution:

Infogenic implemented a SharePoint Server solution to help the firm streamline and manage their growing volume of clients’ paper documents. The solution, which also included writing support utilities, has given Bodtke & Stewart quick and easy access to documents in a digital format. Infogenic also wrote a utility so that automatic indexing of new content occurs every 20 minutes, ensuring everyone at the firm has the most current information.

After implementing this solution when a client calls with a question, anyone at the firm is ready in seconds to respond with the right, most up-to-date answer possible. With the immediate, digital access Infogenic implemented, there’s no longer any need to chase down paper for answers. Bodtke & Stewart saved 20 to 30 hours each week, or 30 to 45 minutes per employee each day that they can devote to more important business matters.
